(David Ferguson) Friday night on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Kimmel presented a special guest video by comic Chris Rock with a message for undecided white voters.
“In times like these, you need a white president you can trust,” Rock said, “and that white president’s name is Barack Obama.”
“Let’s take a look at the facts,” he went on. “For the first two thirds of his life, Barack Obama was known as ‘Barry,’ which is the third whitest name on earth, right after Cody and Jeff.”
Rock pointed out that after college, “Barry went into black neighborhoods to try to organize people. How white is that? Black people don’t go into black communities. We don’t have to. We’re already there!”
So, white people, he went on, please know that you can feel safe placing your trust in the golf-playing, body-surfing, “mom jeans”-wearing current occupant of the White House.
“Even Mitt Romney is blacker than Barack Obama. This is Obama’s family,” he said, showing a photo of the president with his wife and daughters.
“And these are the Romneys,” he said, showing a photo of the whole, huge extended Romney clan. “Look at ‘em. Kids, cousins, uncles, aunt’s uncles. Mitt Romney’s family has more people in it than a Tyler Perry movie.”
