(Rebecca Mansour)  Glenn Beck once again blasted critics of his full-throated defense of Facebook – this time by calling out Matt Drudge of the Drudge Report for being biased against Hillary Clinton.

Beck has been attacking Facebook’s conservative critics ever since the damage control meeting he and 16 other conservatives had with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg last week following reports from several Facebook whistleblowers that the site’s news curators actively suppress conservative stories in their “trending” news section while simultaneously boosting the signal of leftwing causes like Black Lives Matter.

Beck, who has become Zuckerberg’s staunchest defender on the right, took to his Facebook page today to call out Matt Drudge for alleged bias against the Democratic frontrunner.

He posted a screenshot of the latest Drudge headline image and wrote:

So, those who claim to be “conservatives” complain to Facebook about bias.

Why should we demand more from them when we accept clear bias and smears on the left?

Bill Cosby is being told to stand trial for rape.

Drudge rightfully led with the story. How long did it take to find the picture that would also smear Hillary?

No sympathy for Hillary as she has led the way smearing the right for decades. But, should we hold a higher standard or have we decided that the ends justify the means?

Can we complain about bias at Facebook and be taken seriously when we are quiet about our side?

Of course, lost in Beck’s moral equivalence is the fact that the Drudge Report is owned and operated by a private American citizen, Matt Drudge. Facebook, on the other hand, is a multinational publicly traded corporation.

Drudge, who rose to prominence in the 1990s due to his willingness to post stories about the Clinton scandals that mainstream news organizations deliberately spiked, has never hidden his political leanings, consistently describing himself over the years as a conservative and a populist.
